The New Homes Ombudsman Service has been created to ensure strengthened regress where the quality of new homes has not been met.
The developer must give the customer an opportunity to visit the new home, and appoint a suitably qualified inspector to carry out the pre-completion inspection on their behalf.
The pre-completion inspection will be carried out in accordance with the NHQB inspection checklist.
Under NHQB guidance, your home will be inspected by a member of RICS or the RPSA.
